Linlap.info
*Linux Laptop Wiki [Rebooted]*
The aim of the website is to provide a central wiki to post experiences with Linux on the model of laptop / notebook you're using.
Linlap.info is an attempt to 'reboot' the abandoned and spammed linlap dot com which is now unusable.
Please consider participating on building a new "HQ" sending in your model / experiences!
Any help appreciated!

You will be fedilated; Resistance is futile.
Just answered a Personal Profile Analysis with a ton of questions like "Which of these four words describe you the most and which describe you the least".

Had the unfortunate luck that I needed to touch Java again today.
I'm still completely amazed of the amount of boilerplate code needed just to make a basic functional project.

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as SCART, is in fact, RGBs over SCART, or as I've recently taken to calling it, RGBs plus SCART. SCART is not a video standard unto itself, but rather another component of a fully functioning open standard made by the French Radio and Television Receiver Manufacturers' Association.
email from #instagram:

Managed to persuade git to kill my env.production file. Fun times. Not the end of the world disaster but a hassle.
Turned into slightly less of a hassle with extundelete. π€©
@brandon Since your using Digital Ocean, how long would you say $50 would last? For a cheap droplet.
They are using the "charge by the minute" type of scheme, don't they?
Waiting for DNS propagation is pretty much the most boring thing ever ...
There's just something about this song that makes it incredibly appealing to me.
Just got news that I now have two kids to be uncle for instead of just one. Woo! π
Never mind. I managed to get it working using the S3_CLOUDFRONT_HOST variable.
Didn't notice it at first because, given the name, you would think it was used in relation to CloudFront or something. π€
Anyone know how to get Mastodon to generate bucket.S3_HOSTNAME URLS?
So far I can only manage to get the S3_HOSTNAME/bucket variety
